I needed all the giggles I could get after reading about the man who locked up his daughter in his cellar.
She got pregnant with 7 of his children, though 1 child died. There was a code for the door so they couldn't get out. She and her kids (brother/sisters?!) managed to escape after 24 years when another kid got sick and needed hospitalization. The daughter was 19 when her father locked her up.

Anyway, I enjoyed the movie, even though most of it was standard time/space travelling stuff.
I get the feeling that the whole point of the movie was to see the fight scene between Jackie Chan and Jet Li.
Jackie Chan pwns Jet Li, though in the movie it was sort of a tie.

I wasn't too excited about Jet Li's screen time since I don't really like his acting. I mean, para syang tuod sa mga pelikula nya, kung hindi nakasimangot walang expression ung mukha nya. He actually looks okay when he smiles, though the first time I saw his other "character" grin I didn't think it was him at all . Si Jackie Chan kasi marunong magalit at umiyak, lalo na sa "serious" movie projects nya. Both of them don't think much of the movie and they say one of the reasons they did it was to get funding for their Chinese movies.

Yung first 2 churches na pinuntahan namin tapos na ung misa so last resort namin St. Peter's Parish.
When we got there it was so crowded you couldn't walk without bumping into someone else.
I went with Maye while Nanay waited for us in the car.
Napatigil na lang ako sa kinatatayuan ko kasi sooobrang daming tao.
(Sacrilege ba kung sasabihin kong parang mosh pit kanina? Di pa kasi ako nakaka-attend ng concert, except for the OrSem thing nung first year.)
It was literally a SEA of people, and I got so freaked out that I actually imagined dying right there, a la Wowowee sa Ultra.
They wanted to get out so bad I felt them shoving each other.
I heard an old lady say "'Wag po tayong mag-tulakan, Kristiyano tayong lahat."
Sadly, no one listened to her.
My poor recently pedicured toes got crushed.
Nakigaya na rin si Maye, and she told every one to please, NOT push other.
She did admit that what she wanted to do instead was yell "bomba, bomba (as in bomb, not porn)!"

Last 'Harry Potter' Book Becomes 2 Films

Harry Potter was the center of seven novels, but he'll star in eight films. The final book in the wildly successful series will be made into two films, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.
Producers are expected to announce Thursday that J.K. Rowling's last "Potter" installment, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," will be split into two parts on the big screen. The first film is slated for release in November 2010, with part two following in May 2011.
"It was born out of purely creative reasons," producer David Heyman told the Times. "Unlike every other book, you cannot remove elements of this book."
Another famous Tolkien tome, "The Hobbit" is also being split into two live-action movies set for back-to-back shooting to begin next year.
Filming on the sixth "Potter" flick, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," began in September.
"It's been brilliant," said star Daniel Radcliffe. "It's also, I think, the funniest of the films so far."
The "Potter" film franchise has pulled in $4.5 billion at the worldwide box office.
